Entries: 

The meet structure has changed.  There will no longer be Qualifying Standards.  Events will be limited to the Top 32 registered athletes (top 24 freshmen in the 100 and 1600) at the registration deadline.  No exceptions for late entries.  There will also be 5 alternates that will be invited.  The 32+5 and 24+5 athletes will be announced on Tuesday March 29 at Noon.  This will give coaches plenty of time to get an entry fee check from your banker. Alternates are included in the payment.

4 Event Limit per athlete
One relay per school per event. Exceptions may be made...contact the meet director
There are NO LIMITS to the number of athletes you can register on A.net for an event.
If the athlete is in the top 32 of registered athletes (top 24 freshmen), they will make the field.

Entries MUST be made on Athletic.net  No e-mail or faxed entries.
Entries open on January 1, 2016-Entries close on March 28, 2016 at 9:00pm

Entry fees:        
-Entry fee is $5.00 per athlete for CCSD schools. For Non-CCSD schools, the entry fee is $6.00 per athlete..   No refunds for scratches.  Once an athlete makes the field, you will be charged for that athlete.  Payment is due upon packet pickup.  You will receive an e-mail from Athletic.net notifying you of how many of your athletes made the field.
-No Payment – No Packet.  School check or cash only. No school to school transfer of funds. Make checks out to Desert Oasis HS

Awards:           
-Medals to the top 4 in each event.
-Outstanding Athlete Award plaques presented to the top male and female athlete in track and field events.

Miscellaneous:   
-Varsity field events will receive 3 preliminary attempts.  The top 8 will receive 3 final attempts
-4x200 Relay (4 turn stagger)  4x400 Relay (3 turn stagger)
-Waterfall start for 4x800, 800, 1600 and 3200
-**Note- The 3200m run will be divided into 2 sections. Section 1 (Entries 13-32) will be run as the first event of the meet. Section 2 (Top 12 Entries) will be run in the regular meet order, before the 4x400 relays
-Large Warm-up area outside of track facility
-Infield closed to warm-up
-Certified Athletic Trainer on site.  Bring your own tape and prewrap
